We talked with leading people from Kent Children's Services about young people's experiences of being care - what is good and what we think needs to be improved.
We discussed the possibility of the CICC being on Facebook - there's more thinking to be done on this.
We gave our approval to a new CICC leaflet.

We said what we wanted changed in the guides on Independent Reviewing Officers.
We suggested what should be looked at before placing care leavers in bed & breakfast accommodation.
We recommended changes to the ways in which the Kent Pledge to young people in care is presented.
In September:
Two of us met with members of Kent County Council's Select Committee on the Student Journey to talk about our experiences of education and training and how things can be improved to prepare young people for the world of work.
